Senior
Pastor Tom was born on April 20, 1967, in Great Falls, Montana to a career Air Force
father and a homemaker mother. Due in large part to spending much
of his childhood moving from one place to another, he never did
settle into regular church attendance and basically avoided
anything to do with God and Christian principles. While in high
school, Tom accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior after two
of his closest friends, worried about the destructive path he was
heading down, shared the plan of
salvation with him. Right after graduating in 1985, Tom married
Tracy Mills, his high school sweetheart, and headed off to Navy
basic training. While serving as a nuclear plant mechanical
operator and chemist aboard a submarine, he was baptized at Gospel Light Baptist
Church, and
answered a call to preach shortly afterwards, working with the
youth as he began his education and training. Upon getting out of
the service, Tom was called to West Shores
Baptist Church, where he served for
4 ½ years as Associate Pastor. In 1994, he moved back to Colorado Springs where he served on school and
church staff at Hilltop
Baptist Church. Pastor Tom was
called to Pleasant Valley Baptist
Church in November of 2002 and is presently taking distance
seminary classes. Tom and Tracy have 2 adult children: Mike and Jonathan;
and 2 teenagers: Chris and Kaitlyn, both students at Manitou Springs High
School.

Scott
was born and raised in Colorado
Springs to Christian parents in 1968.
He accepted Christ as his
Savior as a youth in 1983 during Youth Camp after realizing
that his decision to be baptized was in haste two years earlier. Scott has been involved with music
most of his life but felt he couldn’t be of service in music
until he ran into Pastor Tom. He felt the call to the music
ministry and answered to be a music minister in 2004 with Pleasant Valley. Aside from
serving at Pleasant
Valley Baptist Church
as Music Minister, Scott works
full time as a network engineer for a local Telecom company. Scott
married his wife Yvette in 1995 and have 2
daughters: Katelinn, who is attending Manitou Springs
Middle School;
and Meghann, who is attending Stratton Elementary. Yvette attended Pleasant Valley through her childhood
and youth, and now is serving as our Children’s Ministry Director.

Andrew accepted Christ as his personal Savior at
the age of 7. He grew up in church and knew when the Holy Spirit
tugged at his heart. Andrew loved church, and he loved Christ and
life was good. Then came High School, and though church was still
important, it had begun to lose it’s effect and Andrew found
himself being influenced by the world's desires, trying to live in
the middle of the Christian life and also in the world. After High
School Andrew participated on mission trip to Argentina,
where he surrendered his life to God’s ministry. He stayed on
in Argentina
for the next year, and studied theology and fully
sold out to God. Upon returning to the
states, he began serving at PVBC as Youth
Minister. He has a daughter, Callie.
