Southern Baptist Church Sunday School Lesson

We have classes for all ages! Sunday School starts at 9:15 AM

Nursery Ministry at PVBCNURSERY

Nursery is available during the Sunday School hour for children birth – 3 years. We have both a blanket baby
and toddler age class. These classes are watched by volunteers, both parents and otherwise.

PRESCHOOL CLASS

Our preschool class is for children ages 3 to 5. This class is taught by Yvonne Moylan.
ELEMENTARY AGE CLASSES
Both classes are together for the first few minutes of Sunday School to sing songs about Jesus and His church.
- Kindergarten to Second Grade Class
The kindergarten to second grade Sunday School class is taught by Mrs. Donna Buck and Mrs. Barbara Goodwin. The curriculum is “Bible Teaching” by LifeWay. A Bible lesson is taught, along with a craft project.
Elementary Sunday School Classes at PVBC- Third through Fifth Grade Class
The third through fifth graders are taught by Dave and Vickie Willson. The curriculum used is Bible Teaching by LifeWay. 
MIDDLE SCHOOL CLASS

Our Middle School class is taught by Mr. Peter Stickler. This class is for kids from Sixth through Eighth Grades.

 
High School Sunday School Class, PVBCHIGH SCHOOL CLASS

The high school class is taught by Mr. Andrew Cottrell, who is also the Youth Pastor, assisted by the Youth Activities Director, Karen Savage. This class is for teens from Ninth to Twelfth grades.
COED (I) Class at PVBCCO-ED (I) CLASS

The Co-ed I class is taught by Mr. Earl Delph, and is a high-energy group learning more about how the Bible may be applied to daily life.
COED (II) Class at PVBCCO-ED (II) CLASS

The Co-ed II class is taught by Dave Wilcoxson, who is also an active deacon and interprets our second service for the Deaf. This class teaches lessons from the Bible, with an emphasis on how these lessons may be applied to daily life.

CO-ED (III) CLASS

This class is taught by Mr. Jack Brown and is our largest class, mainly composed of those age 50 and over. This class uses the LifeWay Family Bible Study Curriculum.

MENS CLASS

This class is taught by Mr. David Buck, also a deacon, and uses the Family Bible Study Curriculum by LifeWay.

Ladies Sunday School Class at PVBCLADIES CLASS

This class is taught by Mrs. Elinor Stidham, a longtime member of PVBC. This class uses the “Through the Bible” Curriculum by Lifeway, and studies one book of the Bible at a time.
