Pleasant valley Baptist Church welcomed its Colorado Springs Preschool ministry on October 26, 1982. Christian as well as cultural values are shared with the children through stories, songs and prayers. No attempt will be made to prejudice children against the faith of their parents. Children of any race, color, gender and national origin and ancestry are welcomed at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church Preschool. Pleasant Valley Baptist Church Preschool has been designed for the development of the whole child through discovery in a non-oppressive, enriched environment. Children experience social, emotional, physical spiritual and intellectual development.

Our preschool educational program for children 2/2 through 6 years provides language arts, stories, dramatizations, and discussions on health, safety, social living, and large and small muscle development activities. Pre-math, pre-science, pre-reading, pre-writing, cooking and art activities are part of our daily work program. Bible stories discussions about God, Jesus and Christian morals and manners are the foundations of our Christian Preschool program.

The extended day care program offers school age children creative activities including arts and crafts, games, and outdoor and indoor recreation.
