Autumn us my favorite season. I love the look and the feel it brings. One of my fondest memories of my dad is tied to the fallen leaves of Autumn. Do get out and enjoy, and give thanks for the wondrous variety God has given us in His creation.
I pray you have taken an opportunity to meet our new Youth Leader, Ryan Moberly, his sweet wife Jennifer and his three precious little boys. Ryan has been teaching the

youth Sunday School for a month now. It is so exciting to see the energy he has brought and the connection he has made with our youth. Please join me in giving thanks that the Lord has brought Ryan into our body to minister with us.
October gives us 31 days to pray for our Nation. And it needs it! For on November 8th we will be voting. We will have the opportunity to vote at the national and state levels, and also on local issues. Get informed. This coming election will need our prayerful attention and our voices; VOTE!!
The first Sunday in November, that is the sixth, we will go off of Day Light Savings Time. So every one should be able to come to Sunday School. You will have an extra hour for a lot of fun and fellowship.
November is a busy month, the eleventh, we celebrate our Veterans and give thanks for and to those who have served and are serving. We have several Church members, family members, and friends in our church who have answered this noble call. We are so thankful for the men and women who put themselves in harms way to keep us and our freedoms safe. I'm sure they are thankful for our PRAYERS and support.
We are entering the season when we reflect back and remember the many blessings we have received; as a nation, a Church, our families, and on each of us individually. It is truly a time of Thanksgiving. First Thessalonians 5:18 tells us, "In every thing give thanks for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you." So we can be thankful in every season, no matter what the ups and downs are; for we know God is working a plan. He is in control.
Please mark your calendars for the Christmas Card Party; Saturday, December 3, at 2 pm. I'm hoping by having the party early in the afternoon more of you will be able to attend. Do plan to join us for an opportunity to share Christ, the real reason for the season, with prisoners who are so open and hungry to hear about Jesus.
We are in need of a Sunday School teacher for our Ladies' Class. Please pray about this opportunity to learn and grow spiritually as you enjoy a lovely group of ladies.
If you have any questions about our Sunday School classes please feel free to contact me.
Love In Christ,
Dr. Janice Luellen
