Happy New Year from the Preschool! We have enjoyed the festive days of the holidays with a fun performance for our families, hours of crafting and finding out different ways to celebrate Christmas from around the world! We love Christmas and are so glad to learn about how God sent his Son to earth! Charles Dickens said” I will honor Christmas in my heart and try to keep it all the year.” That would be a great goal here, as children and Christmas go hand in hand. They make it very joyful.
We have had to time to play and relax, and now it is time to get to work! We will continue with are January days learning about hibernating animals, winter sports, snow, snow and more snow! We are hoping to put on boots and mittens and enjoy the winter weather.
February will bring lessons of dental hygiene, friendship and of course, a tale of a certain ground hog. We will be busy in our classrooms learning and look forward to more….snow!
Hopefully, Punxsutawney Phil will not see his shadow and March will bring warmer and thawing days. We will become little Leprechauns and find gold on the playground. Learning will be in full swing and we will be strongly preparing for Kindergarten. We will learn about the Lion and the Lamb, in the Bible and start preparing for Easter.
Lots of busy days ahead, wishing you all many blessing in 2017!
